It is known that YS Sharmila, daughter of former CM YS Rajashekar Reddy, has announced that she is setting up a political party in Telangana. On the occasion of her father’s birthday, she will be announcing the name of the party, along with the flag and the ideology.
Now, the latest news is that Sharmila had applied for registration of her new party as ‘YSR Telangana Party’. Vaduka Rajagopal, a family friend of late YSR, registered the name with the Election Commission of India. Sharmila’s team has submitted all the documents related to the formation of the new party for the EC.
In this context, a press release has also been released to state if there are any objections to the name of the new party formed by YS Sharmila.
If there are any objections to the name of the party, it should be stated by June 6, 2021. Reports suggest that Vaduka Rajagopal will be the chairman of YSRTP.
