YS Viveka Case: CBI wants to do narco-analysis on accused!

The sensational murder case of brother of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, YS Vivekananda Reddy, a former MP went through several twists and turns so far. As another development in the case, the Central Bureau of Investigation moved the special court seeking special permission.

As per the information, the Central Bureau of Investigation had knocked on the doors of the special court in Pulivendula, seeking permission from the court to perform narco-analysis tests on one of the accused in the case, Devireddy Shiv Shankar Reddy.

Shiv Shankar Reddy was nabbed by the CBI recently from a hospital facility in Hyderabad when he visited the facility for treatment. After he was nabbed by the agency, he had approached the court seeking bail. At the time when the court is expected to give its verdict on the same, the CBI entered the scene.

It is said that the special court will take a call on whether or not to permit the CBI to conduct narco-analysis tests on the accused after taking his opinion on the same into consideration. We have to wait and see what the Court will decide on the permission.

Earlier, he made sensational allegations saying that he is being wrongly dragged into the case and opined that YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Sunitha, her husband, and others are planning a conspiracy to involve him in the case.
