YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter YS Sunitha Reddy has met Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Gopalakrishna Dwivedi and complained against CM Chandrababu Naidu. She demanded for a fair probe in her father’s brutal murder. In her complaint to CEC, Sunitha said CM Chandrababu Naidu’s statements in her dad’s murder are “misleading” and may “influence” the Special Investigation Team’s investigation.
Viveka’s daughter in her earlier press conference hasn’t raised any objections on the SIT and expressed that the SIT would be allowed to do its probe in a free manner. Election Commission is likely to act on Sunitha’s complaint.
Meanwhile, TDP leaders are finding fault with Sunitha’s complaint. They say Chandrababu Naidu has made such statements in counter to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Senior leader Babu Rajendra Prasad said it was YS Jagan who politicized YS Viveka’s murder and resorted to mud-slinging on Chandrababu. He said Naidu has responded in same tone to YS Jagan.
