YS Vivekananda Reddy, the uncle of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, was murdered right before the 2019 elections, which came as a major shock to everyone in the state. The investigation into his murder has been going on ever since then, and the CBI recently filed a charge sheet naming Kadapa MP Y S Avinash Reddy as the main accused. This caused a lot of unrest within the YSRCP, which started attacking the TDP.
The YSRCP portrayed TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu as the culprit behind Viveka’s murder, in the lead up to the 2019 elections, and with the CBI now naming a YSRCP member, YSRCP leader, and advisor to the state government in public affairs, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, started attacking the CBI, saying that the CBI has sided with the TDP and with Chandrababu Naidu.
On the other hand, Sajjala has also been speculating that Viveka’s daughter Dr. N Sunitha Reddy might be in cahoots with Chandrababu, in slinging mud on Jagan’s family. With reports suggesting that Sunitha recently met with Chandrababu, and Sajjala’s speculations, it is being said that Sunitha might be considering joining the TDP very soon.
