Post bifurcation, there are lot of contentious issues between both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. There are occasions galore when the leaders of both the states fought pitched verbal battles and abused each other. Yet, several YSRCP MLAs it appears have personal relations with Telangana CM KCR.
The cynosure of all eyes at Shamshabad’s Muchintal, where a gigantic statue of Sri Ramanuja is being installed, are two firebrand YSRCP MLAs from Chittoor district. Nagari MLA RK Roja and Chandragiri MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy. Both these MLAs were seen talking in a friendly and animated manner with Telangana CM KCR, who visited Muchintal on Thursday evening.
Usually, KCR is accompanied by his nephew Santosh Kumar or some ministers from his cabinet. But, this time both Roja and Chevireddy accompanied him. In the past too, Roja hosted KCR when he visited Chennai recently, KCR accepted her hospitality.
Similarly, Chevireddy has long time relation with KCR. The relation dates back to the time when Chevireddy was the member of the TTD board. Both the MLAs from Chittoor are quite active in organizing things at Muchintal. Despite the differences between the two states, these leaders continue to enjoy friendly relations.
