Since the day the notifications for the Rajya Sabha elections have been issued, there has been tremendous predictions in all parties on the possibilities of various changes. In this process, many new names have surfaced and many old leaders are trying their luck.
By April 9th, 2020 the time period of two sitting MPs will come to an end. And those two seats will be vacant. There are very less chances that these two will be re-elected to Rajya Sabha. Those two MPs who are retiring from the Rajya Sabha are T.Subba Rami Reddy and KVP Rama Chandra Rao.
It was a known fact that during the time of YSR, he used to mention that KVP is his spirit and that if somebody talks to him, it is equal to talking to YSR.
But still, since KVP did not support Jagan after YSR’s demise, he will not have a chance to be nominated by Congress party. Neither will any of T. Subba Rami Reddy’s contacts would be enough to get him a nomination.
