TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, the longest-serving chief minister of the undivided Andhra Pradesh and the first chief minister of the residuary Andhra Pradesh, is locked up in his Hyderabad house due to the lockdown and the spread of corona virus.
Though residing in Telangana state, Chandrababu Naidu spends a couple of hours every day in his house to speak to the media about AP politics. He dedicates most of the media interaction time to find fault with the AP government in corona mitigation.
In the last four press conferences that he had addressed from his Hyderabad house, the TDP chief tried to create panic among the people about the spread of the virus in the State and its dangers.
He also accused the government of hiding the facts about the virus and its positive cases besides deaths and sought to tell the government to be transparent.
He tried to paint a scary picture about the virus in the State in his run to blame the government of complete failure – a political allegation.
As countered by Minister for Information and Public Relations, Perni Nani, the other day, the TDP chief wants the government to create panic by projecting it as fast spreading dangerous epidemic in the State.
One wonders why is the TDP chief so particular about creating panic among the people on the virus instead of comforting them, as an experienced leader and a long-serving chief minister!
Chandrababu Naidu is ahead of his party leaders and activists in spreading the panicky news across the state rather than instilling confidence in them.
It is all for politics and no concern for the safety of the people?
