Khaidi Storm: Crosses 100 Cr Share

Mega Star Chiranjeevi is continuing his storm at the Box Office. Silencing his detractors, Chiru made a splashy comeback as the film has crossed Rs 100 Crore share mark.

The Telugu remake of Kaththi directed by VV Vinayak said to have crossed total world-wide  “distributor” share of  Rs 100 Crore. As per trade, Khaidi had a decent 4th Sunday and this made it achieve the magic figure of 100 Crore share.

Thus it emerged as the ‘All Time Second Highest Collected film’ in Telugu, standing next only to magnum opus Baahubali, Khaidi No. 150. As per the trade analysts, Khaidi has also set new record in Vizag.

With this, Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu has been pushed to Third Highest Collected film in Telugu.

Released on Jan 11 on Sankranthi eve, the film achieved this rarest feat in 26 days.The film is the maiden production of Ram Charan on his home banner Konidela Production Company while it’s presented by Chiru’s wife Konidela Surekha.
