All the political parties in the country are gearing up for the Lok Sabha elections which are likely to be held in March or April month. So to woo the voters, every party in the country is making their own effort.
The Madhya Pradesh Congress party is in high spirits with win in the recent assembly elections. The leaders want to carry this momentum and win maximum seats as well. Accordingly they are considering to field Bollywood stars in the poll foray. Bhopal local leaders Guddu Chauhan and Anees Khan have proposed star heroine Kareena Kapoor Khan for the Bhopla Parliament seat.
This constituency has been BJP’s fort since decades and Congress wants to dismantle it by roping Kareena. Being the daughter-in-law of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, the Pataudi family shares strong ties with Bhopal and after marrying Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, she constantly visited this place for family and other occasions.
The Congress leaders opine that Kareena has huge craze among the youngsters and Pataudi backing will be a massive advantage if she contests from Bhopal.
As these reports reached BJP, the saffron party started attacking the Congress. Bhopal MP Alok Sanjar criticised the Congress, saying the party lacks a strong leader and that is they are bringing an actor from Mumbai to defeat the BJP, which will never happen.
