The rescue operations of revenue administration of Tiruchirapalli district went in vain as the two year old Sujith Wilson died. Last week on Friday around evening hours, Sujith fell in an abandoned well which is heard to be around 600 feet deep in Nadukattupatti near Manapparai.
On Monday at 10:30 PM during the rescue operations, the officials noticed a foul smell and came to a conclusion that the child is no more. As per the officials Sujith died because of hunger. He was without food and water for nearly four days and so he died. Sujith corpse was recovered this morning and later sent to post-mortem. The doctors too confirmed the same in their report that Sujith died with lack of food and water.
The final rites of Sujith were performed at the Fathima Pudur cemetery near Trichy after the post-mortem. From Prime Minister to Rahul Gandhi and many celebrities have prayed for the safe return of Sujith Wilson but those prayers went unheard.
