The makers of “Radhe Shyam” had announced the details of cast and crew when they unveiled the first look early this month. But one glaring missing name was the music director.
When the film was launched Amit Trivedi was signed to compose the music but he opted out of the project.
Then the makers have begun discussions with Thaman who is riding high on popularity with sensational music of ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’. However, T-Series which bought the film’s Hindi rights for a whopping Rs 125 crore has other plans.
T-Series always prefers to have multiple music directors. It had followed the same method for “Saaho” and is said to be insisting the same for “Radhe Shyam”.
But Prabhas and UV Creations are in favor of handing over the assignment to Thaman as he understands the Telugu music trends well. The music of “Saaho” clicked with the Hindi audiences but it didn’t work out in Telugu.
Thaman is also anxiously waiting to know the final answer from the makers. He wants to score music for a Prabhas film.
