It’s been quite a while that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan came into the public eye. Let alone the general public, even his party leaders and cadres haven’t met him in several months. He went into a shell once the Tirupati bypolls were completed. Initially, he was in home quarantine as many of his party colleagues had tested positive for Covid.
Now there is no covid and he has tested negative. But, even then Pawan is still in isolation. He has confined himself to his residence and sent out just a couple of press notes. What more? He is not even active on social media. There were several major incidents but he responded only to major incidents such as Ruia Hospital incident, Raghuramakrishnam Raju’s arrest and film PRO BA Raju’s death. He is not even holding zoom meetings.
If one sees the Jana Sena official twitter handle, the last video uploaded was the one where he campaigned for the party during the Tirupati bypolls. Since then, there is no update from Pawan Kalyan. Can one run a political party with such inactive president? One expects Pawan to buck up and start doing something for the people of the state.
