It’s a no brainer that KCR is the most calculative of politicians in the Telugu states. He plans long and he plans big. His strategies are accurate and assessments are bang-on. If our sources are to be believed, he has already begun preparing for the 2023 assembly elections. He reportedly began working on the possible strategies.
KCR is said to have done a detailed survey-cum-evaluation of all his MLAs. If reports are to be believed, a fair number of his MLAs are placed in the C grade. Some are in the B grade. A significant number of MLAs are in the A grade. If sources are to be believed, KCR reportedly told those in the C Grade to buck up and work hard. He told them that if they do not improve their scale, they could be dropped in the 2023 elections.
It may be recalled that KCR did not change any MLA except seven persons. This was done on the basis of the grading that he had given after thorough surveys. He is said to be adopting the same strategy for 2023 assembly elections.
He has already indicated that there would be no early elections this time. He asked the party MLAs to improve their performance as they still have two years time. He indirectly indicated that he would bank on the old horses one more time. This is also an indication that there is no use lobbying for the MLA seats for new comers.
