Key distribution players, including Asian Sunil and Dil Raju, who suffered substantial losses from ‘Liger’, are reportedly reluctant to allocate a significant number of screens to ‘Double iSmart’. Their preference leans towards Ravi Teja’s ‘Mr. Bachchan’, which is also slated for the same release date.
The pre-release business for ‘Double iSmart’ has been impacted by these developments, with discussions ongoing between the film’s producers and distributors. The Nizam rights, though sold to Warangal Seenu, have encountered payment issues, further complicating matters.
