‘Hello’ was touted as the re-launch film for Akhil Akkineni. The film brought mixed feelings to Akhil and his father Nagarjuna.It is a hit in USA as it collected $ 650k in just four days. However, it performed below par in domestic market, which decides the film’s real fate.On one hand, Akhil should feel happy that he didn’t deliver another dud like his debut movie. On the other hand, he also failed to deliver a massive hit either. He still needs to wait to deliver a big hit.
Although Nagarjuna has been trying to rope in Koratala Siva for Akhil’s next film, the top director is yet to give his nod.Koratala has commitments with other big stars like Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. Unless Akhil teams up with a director who makes movies that appeal to larger audiences, his career will not move forward.
In a recent interview, Akhil said he will be doing a movie with an out-of-box idea as his next. On social media, Akhil’s fans have warned him not to take that route if he wants success.
