He ordered those packets at the rate of Rs.600 each. Totally, MLA has to pay Rs.36 lakhs to the grocery shop owner.
Shakeel said he would pay Rs 12 lakh in advance and pay the rest later. Muralidhar has been asking MLA for money for the last two years but he is not responding. The victim spoke to MLA Shakeel on the phone two days ago.
It was against this backdrop the MLA was furious with Muralidhar and abused the shop owner over the phone. The victim, who recorded the MLA’s call released it to the media. Muralidhar said he had taken a loan from the bank and set up a shop and the authorities had seized his shop as the MLA did not pay him the money back.
