AP High Court Served Notices On ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’ song

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has served notices to central and regional censor boards on the maverick director Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Lakshmi’s NTR.’

Recently, the makers have released ‘Dhaga.. Dhaga.. Kutra..’ song from this movie and raising objections over it Pitapuram MLA SVSN Varma has approached the High Court. The MLA in his petition stated that the song portrays AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in bad light and with elections around the corner, it should be removed from all the streaming platforms.

The Court after hearing the arguments, has served notices to the censor and also the producer of ‘Lakshmi’s NTR.’ The court has given three weeks time to respond on the notices.

Director RGV is yet to react on the notices but we can assume that he would reply quite controversially.
