Jaleel Khan’s Daughter Grabs His Constituency

With just 3 months left for the general elections in Andhra Pradesh, the political temperature is going high. At the time when several leaders are switching sides, the latest development is about the political entry of Vijayawada-West MLA Jaleel Khan’s daughter Shabana Khatur

Shabana, who was accompanied with her father, has met TDP supreme and AP chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu earlier today and joined in the party. Soon after the meeting, Khan spoke to the media folks are said that Chandrababu Naidu has confirmed the first (Vijayawada-West) MLA ticket to his daughter.

When Khan was asked whether he is planning to quit politics, he said that he would continue to be in politics till the last breath and also made some interesting comments. Khan has indicated that he’s ready to take on BJP state President Kanna Lakshminarayana in Guntur, if party wants him to.

Speaking to media, Shabana said “I enjoy social service from my childhood and now, under the guidance of father – I will strive to do it in bigger way” and added “I’ve been a fan of Chandrababu Naidu garu from my college going days and also served for the party as TDP Coordinator when I was in Virginia (US).” Shabana is expected to start door to door campaigning in her constituency soon.
