Braving against all the odds, Nikhil Siddhartha’s latest release Arjun Suravaram has done it. Notwithstanding the multiple delays and mixed reviews from critics, the film has received big thumbs up from movie lovers. The film entered into profits in its first week. With this distributors and producers are happy.
According to the BO figures released by the film’s team, Arjun Suravaram has earned Rs 6.4 Crore share in Andhra and Telangana in the first week. In Karnataka and Rest of India, the film earned 0.45 Crore share. Whereas, the film’s revenue in overseas isn’t promising. In the US, Arjun Suravaram got 40 Lakh share in the first week.
So, the closing figures for the first week are Rs 7.35 Crore world-wide share (15 Crore WW gross). This is big as the film’s theatricals are sold for 6 Crore. Distributors of all areas have entered into profits. Even producers got profits as they have sold non-theatrical rights for decent money.
Meanwhile, actor Nikhil is on a whirlwind tour in Telugu states. He is aggressively promoting the film. With the latest week releases turned out to be weak, Nikhil has got good boost. Arjun Suravaram is expected to get more foot falls in the second week and expected to increase profits for its buyers.
