Tensions prevailed in Rajanna Sircilla during Minister KTR‘s visit. Attempts were made by BJP activists and leaders to block the ministerial convoy at Konaraopet.
As they were incensed at the remarks made by KTR in the wake of the Warangal incident, BJP activists blocked KTR’s convoy.
Police prevented the activists from blocking the convoy. This created an atmosphere of confrontation between BJP and TRS activists and the situation became tense.
BJP activists were ousted by the TRS ranks. Police brought the situation under control by arresting several BJP activists and they were immediately rushed to the police station.
Afterward, Minister KTR’s visit to Rajanna Sircilla went smoothly with the help of the police.
