Chandra Babu Naidu seems to have unaware of the proceedings in the state and the way YSRCP is cruising in the national-level politics.
Many people opine that Naidu should stop depending on the systems like High Court, Central government for support in his battle with Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Of course, Naidu really needs to know that there is no room for taking chances at this crucial phase.
This is all about Naidu announcing the party’s central committees. He made some huge changes in the TDP politburo. This time, to everyone’s surprise, a jumbo committee with 25 members has been announced.
This committee is a good mix with seniors and juniors but he seems to have compromised with some candidates who have been underserved or least determined towards the party to people’s knowledge.
One such person is Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Bala Krishna. One should agree is that NBK is a huge force in the Hindupur region but all his reputation is strictly confined to his own constituency and his involvement in the internal affairs of the party is almost negligible till now.
He hasn’t been an active politician over the period of time and has lined up some movies playing the lead character.
Nandamuri Balakrishna got a promotion and has been inducted into Politburo for the first time. After the demise of Harikrishna, the Nandamuri family did not get a chance to be in Politburo. It seems CBN might have carried away with the victory that NBK managed to secure despite Jagan’s storm.
However, the talk in TDP supporters and in the public is that Balayya’s place might have given to a young leader and that could help a bit for the party.
Notably, CBN also included leaders like Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, Kollu Ravindra, Gummidi Sandhya Rani and Vangalapudi Anita in the politburo.
Among all these candidates Balayya may underperform but no one knows what is in the store for this actor-turned-politician and how he responds to the higher intensity in the politburo discussions over a period of time.
