Popular compact newspaper of Mumbai, ‘Mumbai Mirror’, has faced the ire of Telugu star Rana Daggubati for a news piece that was written a couple of days ago and the kind of clarity news they have printed in a small corner of their tabloid.
If we go into the news, actually a piece got written that Rana Daggubati has secretly attended a dinner with one Anirban Blah, the co-founder of talent management agency Kwaan, who was accused of sexually harassing many models and actresses. After several #MeToo allegations, he has stepped out of his position in the agency but is known for writing about food on his Instagram page.
Mumbai Mirror’s snippet had that Rana Daggubati also attended the dinner hosted by Anirban Blah, regarding which a Twitter user posted if it is not shameful that the likes of Harsh Goenka (business tycoon) and Rana Daggubati are funding #MeToo accused Anirban Blah. Breathing fire on the same, Rana clarified that he never went there as he got a shoot in Vikrabad and another dinner in Bangalore the very same day.
However, after Rana clarified to Mumbai Mirror, the newspaper published that “Rana was invited and scheduled to come, but the actor didn’t make it”. This has irriated the Baahubali star more, as he tweeted, “OOPS in the corner of you’re papers and saying I was “scheduled” to go is no way to cover your ass….”a shoot schedule in Vikarabad and random dinner in Bangalore ! “I wast scheduled neither did I go (sic)”.
Later the actor also blasted the journalist behind the piece and vented his ire saying ‘Pls do your job well and let me do mine. It’s a big publication don’t keep writing shit on it”
