As the notification for the Local Body Elections are issued, the campaigning has become dynamic. From today onwards the nominations will be accepted and on the 14th of this month, the withdrawals of the nominations will be allowed.
So in this occasion, Jagan Mohan Reddy had come up with an offer that is hard to refuse.
If the Panchayat Elections are won unanimously, then those Villages will be getting cash rewards upto 20 lakhs. This strategy was copied from KCR when he had announced something very similar to this.
Apart from just Sarpanch, even if Ward Members are elected unanimously, these rewards will be given to the villages which can be either used for development or as monetary funds for personal growth, whichever way.
This scheme is usually implemented by the Governments as a part of Panchayati Raj Systems. According to this system, in order for the Villages to not have a war-like environment during the elections and to promote harmony within the people, all are expected to be on the same page and elect their leader unanimously. A G.O will be issued most likely on this in the next two days.
