Former Telangana health minister Etela Rajender, who resigned from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) on Friday, said that he and Harish Rao were insulted in the party.
While speaking to the media from his residence at Shamirpet, Etela recalled that Harish Rao also faced several insults along with him. He said a gap had been developed between CM KCR and him five years ago.
Etela recalled that when he went to meet KCR at the farmhouse with 9 MLAs to discuss a problem in the Karimnagar district, KCR had not allowed them inside, including Etela. The CM did not come even after taking the appointment for the second time. He said the same thing had happened for the third time. Etela mentioned he had suggested to MP Santosh to change the name of the Pragati Bhavan to Slave Bhavan.
He questioned whether there was a single SC, ST and BC IAS officer in the CMO since 2014. Now, Etela’s comments on Harish Rao have become a burning issue in Telangana politics.
