Rajamouli’s magnum opus #RRR starring NTR, Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt filming is currently on hold due to Corona crisis.
Film shootings may not resume until June or July is what analysts say.
#RRR will lose precious time during the lockdown and Rajamouli has reportedly decided to shift it’s release date further to avoid pressure in meeting the deadline.
RRR was slotted for Sankranthi release before Coronavirus pandemic has stalled it’s progress. Rajamouli has decided to shift the release date to next summer. They are eyeing at April 28th as of now, which is expected to be made official shortly.
Baahubali 2 released on April 28 and summer season is considered the best time for tentpole movies like RRR.
RRR moving out of Sankranthi slot will help other producers to reschedule their movies.
Acharya, Pushpa and a couple of other biggies will aim at Sankranthi 2021 release if RRR shifts to April 2021.
