FIR filed against Sonu Nigam after he posts controversial tweets against azaan

Sonu Nigam has been in the news lately because of his controversial tweet. He took to Twitter to slam the whole practice of the azaan being played on loudspeaker in the morning. “God bless everyone. I’m not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India,” he tweeted. “And by the way Mohammed did not have electricity when he made Islam.. Why do I have to have this cacophony after Edison I don’t believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don’t follow the religion . Why then..? Honest? True? Gundagardi hai bus…” he said, in a consecutive series of tweets further. And by that time the acclaimed singer had already started getting a lot of flak from people on social media. And now, the latest we get to hear is that an FIR has been launched against Sonu Nigam in this case. The FIR has been launched in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra and the official copy of it has been released. Here, take a look.
