“This is not a success meet, we’ve already got one. This is a Thank You meet”, says Allu Arjun, starting his speech at DJ Duvvada Jagannadham ‘Thank You’ meet where he spoke about responsibility and positivity.
“Whether reviews or anything, there is some negativity. Though I don’t welcome negativity, I would like to overshadow that with my positivity. DJ’s success proved that there are good people around in the world. I believe that there will be positive people in the world overall and audiences proved that again” said Allu Arjun, downplaying the negative reviews and criticism on the film.
About Harish Shankar- “No matter how hard we work, it’s only the director who could give us a hit film. More than your words, your film spoke bigger Harish. And your today’s speech is bigger than that”
On collections- “If it is 100 crores collections, then definitely it is not a number. It’s the love and affection audiences showered on the film. It’s the number of audiences who have watched the movie. I would take it that way”
On other side, Allu Arjun appreciated lyric writers for making sure that Telugu literature’s legacy will continue through their writings, while Pooja Hegde’s the USA has made youths go gaga over her. “It’s better to speak wise and less at this point of time. I will celebrate the success in USA with NRI audiences, as the Success Tour starts there”, he concluded.
