TDP member and ex- MP of Visakhapatnam, Sabbam Hari recently said that Jagan won’t be the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh next year. His statement comes as a total surprise to everyone, and is indeed a controversial statement for him to make, given that the YSRCP government doesn’t deal well with negative or opposing comments aimed at them.
Sabbam Hari simply said that Jagan wouldn’t be the Chief Minister next year, without any further explanation. While some are considering his statements to be baseless, and purely whimsical, many others beg to differ.
Sources say that Sabbam Hari could have been talking about the illegal assets cases filed on Jagan. These cases have not yet been resolved in the court yet, and they are the reason behind Jagan’s undying fidelity towards the BJP. This is the reason why Jagan is not going against any decisions that the BJP is taking.
However, sources say that Jagan could soon be convicted under these cases and be sent to jail. This was the reason why Jagan made sure that his wife, Bharati, was knowledgeable enough to be able to run the state in his absence. Last year, Jagan made sure that his wife got her lessons, but the plan has been dropped this year, given that everything’s been going well so far.
With Sabbam’s recent statements, industry experts wonder if the politician spoke about this matter knowing something with respect to Jagan’s cases. There could also be a possibility that Sabbam was speaking baselessly.
The YSRCP will be in power for the next four years to come, and nothing will change until the next general elections.
