KCR Gets First Big ‘Jhalak’ from Modi Govt

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has received the first major jolt from the BJP led NDA government ever since he revolted against the centre on various state related issues. KCR also announced the formation of Third Front – a strong alternative to BJP and Congress at national level, recently.

The Defence ministry has denied KCR the permission to hold a mammoth public meeting with the beneficiaries of sheep distribution program at Parade grounds. The Defence ministry is the custodian of the grounds.Telangana Animal Husbandry minister T Srinivas Yadav pursued the issue of getting the permission from the Union government to hold a public meeting for the last one month and it proved a futile exercise. Even the CMO officials have made efforts but they in vain.

KCR had planned to hold the public meeting with at least 2 lakh people from the Yadav community this weekend. As there was no response to his plea, the TRS government has postponed the meeting indefinitely.
