Krishna Vamsi about Baahubali, Rajamouli

Having finished the shoot of most-awaited Nakshatram, director Krishna Vamsi is now focusing on promoting it widely. The movie featuring Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra, Sai Dharam Tej and Pragya Jaiswal had its teaser launch on Sunday, on the occasion of hero Sundeep’s birthday. The entire team shared their experience and working days at the press meet in Hyderabad.

Speaking at this event, the senior and sensible filmmaker KV has opened up about on his colleague Rajamouli and Indian cinema’s biggest blockbuster Baahubali. He further spoke about how budgets should not decide the fate of a film while answering to one of the media people’s question. He said as below, read on…

‘First of all, I never work for achievements or stamps. I have always attempted to deliver & share the ideas/stories I believed in. Second thing, any film is a director’s film. Today, director Rajamouli’s proved the same with Baahubali. Cinema is a director’s media, but directors to make it happen will need stars, artists and technicians.’

He also added, ‘Budget was never a barrier for our film. I’ve only asked my producers what I needed and assured them I’ll take care of rest. So, I feel budgets should never decide the fate of a film. Had we (Telugu Film Industry) relied on budgets, we would have never witnessed our Telugu pride -Baahubali: The Conclusion’.
