Lockdown in Telangana extended for 10 more days!

The TRS Govt conducted a cabinet meeting today, headed by Chief Minister KCR, and discussed the extension of lockdown in the state. Given that the number of coronavirus cases in the state has greatly reduced, the state government decided to relax the lockdown a bit more than its current state.

Right now, the relaxation of lockdown is from 6 AM to 1 PM, with a buffer time of one hour, up to 2 PM, so that whoever goes out can go back home. Now, the relaxations have been extended by a few hours. The relaxation is now from 6 AM to 5 PM, with a buffer of one hour again, up to 6 PM, post which nothing should be operational, and strict lockdown measures will be put in place.

These protocols will be in effect from June 11th, for a span of 10 days, post which the cabinet will once again decide whether to extend the lockdown or not, and what the next steps should be.
