Pak Commando Who Tortured Abhinandan, Killed

According to news reports, Pakistani commando Ahmed Khan, who was behind the capture of Wing Commander Abhinandan in February this year, was killed by the Indian Army at the Line of Control on August 17, 2019 when he was facilitating more infiltrators into India. In order to foil major infiltration attempt by Pakistan, Ahmed was killed by Indian Army at the Nakyal sector of the LoC on Saturday. The news came into light little late.

Ahmed Khan, a subedar with the Pakistan Army’s Special Service Group, used to facilitate infiltration into India. He was specially roped in by the Pakistani army to facilitate infiltration into India. It is reported that Ahmed Khan used to facilitate infiltration in the Nowshera, Sundarbani and Pallan Wala sectors. Reports have it that Khan used to mobilize well-trained militants of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit at a forward post as part of Pakistan’s plan to keep terrorism alive in Kashmir.

It can be recalled that Indian Air Force (IAF) Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was found captive on Feb 27, 2019 after his MiG 21 was shot down by Pak forces when his fighter plane entered into Pak territory as it went chasing after a Pakistani jet in the aftermath of the Balakot air strike. Abhinandan was then captured by Pak commando Ahmed Khan who later tortured, tormented him. Bearded Ahmed Khan can be seen behind the IAF officer Abhinandan in the photos released by Pakistan after his capture on Feb 27, 2019. The video of Abhinandan being beaten had gone viral and this instantly received flak from international community which forced Pak to mend its ways back then and finally forced to release Abhinandan on March 1st, 2019.
