Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has said that a decision on the Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election candidate will be announced within a week.
Pawan met Janasena leaders and activists in Tirupati. Speaking on the occasion, Pawan said that the decision on the Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election will be announced after another meeting.
He said that he did not interfere in the Ramatirtha incident because he could not do politics in the name of religion.
He wants to give up political gain for religious harmony. Pawan directed the party leaders and activists to respond in the same way to any attack on any temple. He said politics without religious affiliation was Janasena’s ideology.
With the sudden death of sitting MP Balli Durgaprasad in Tirupati, a by-election was inevitable. However, the Election Commission has not yet begun the process for this by-election.
