PV Sindhu signs Rs 50 crore deal

India’s ace badminton player PV Sindhu has signed a multi-crore deal with popular Chinese sports brand Li Ning. This contract total value is Rs 50 crore, making it the second biggest deal for Sindhu.

This is a four-year deal and Sindhu will get not less than Rs 40 crore in the form of sponsorship while the rest will be for equipment purpose.

Right after winning the silver in Olympics, Sindhu signed a Rs 100 crore deal with Baseline Ventures, a sports management company and now she bagged a Rs 50 crore. Sindhu’s popularity is on the rise.

Director of Sunlight Sports Pvt Ltd, Mahendra Kapoor said they are happy to associate with Sindhu and also informed that another shuttle player Srikanth is also endorsing the brand, Li Ning. Srikanth’s deal is worth Rs 35 crore. Kapoor further added that it’s not just about the deal, they would like to provide Sindhu and Srikanth the best coaching and support staff which enables them to win an Olympics Gold.
