YSRCP Narsapuram Lok Sabha member Raghurama Krishnam Raju has no thoughts of slowing down in his fight against his party. He is in a constant search of issues that can help him in attacking the ruling outfit and targeting the government. The Rebel MP has now caught hold of an issue to target the government.
Raghurama Krishnam Raju said he will run the elections for the party chief post against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In the next organisational elections of YSRCP, I will contest the elections. The organisational elections were delayed citing Covid as the reason, the MP said,
When the bylaws of the party say the elections should be held once every two years, why is the party not going for the same? The organisational elections were supposed to be held in 2020. But giving Covid as a reason, they are delaying the elections. I demand the party to hold the elections, he said.
The MP said that anyone in the party can contest the elections and hence he would run the elections. I am a disciplined party worker and that’s why they are unable to suspend me from the party. YCP leaders are spreading false news against me, he said.
Stressing for the commencement of the organisational elections, Raghurama Krishnam Raju asked why the party doesn’t want to go for the polls. When the ZPTC and MPTc elections can be held then why not the organisational elections, he asked.
