His looks at the airport or other events have always been a topic of discussion and there are a lot of memes circulating about his dressing style. While it was all going well till a point, he landed in trouble due to a bare body photoshoot that stunned everyone.
His poses went viral and he received a lot of hate for promoting nudity. As we know, a police case was filed on the ‘Ram Leela’ actor and the Mumbai police reportedly served notices to him. He was charged under sections 509 (act intending to outrage modesty of women) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), 292 (sale of obscene books), Section 67A of the IT Act and 293 (sale of obscene objects to young persons).
Ranveer Singh gave his statement on August 29th and he reportedly said that the photo in which his private parts were allegedly visible is not real and was completely morphed. Sources say that the police have sent the photos to the forensic department to check if they were morphed or not. If it is confirmed that they were tampered with, the star hero will be walking out with a clean chit.
An officer reportedly stated, “In his statement, he has said that the seven photographs he posted on Instagram were not obscene and he was wearing underwear. He added that the photograph in which the complainant had alleged that his ‘private parts were visible’ was morphed and not part of the photoshoot.” We need to wait and see how things turn out for Ranveer in the coming days.
