Sai Dharam Tej has certainly learnt a lesson from his streak of failures. He is now looking for different scripts than banking upon dated formulaic films.
In his last film Chitralahari, he was seen as an underdog where he didn’t have to flex his muscles at all.
His next with Maruthi is titled Prathi Roju Pandage and it is a complete family entertainer with Tej playing the typical boy next door.
Tej has also okayed a script narrated by director Deva Katta. It will be a serious drama in the lines of Prasthanam that earned a lot of respect and acclaim for the talented filmmaker.
However, Deva Katta couldn’t deliver another impressive film post Prasthanam. He is looking to make a comeback after a hiatus and he met Sai Tej and narrated the story that he has been working on from a long time.
Tej used to have reservations in testing new waters before, but he is confident enough to come out of comfort zone after facing humiliating failures on the trot.
