Shriya Saran congratulates Mandira Bedi; is eager to meet daughter Tara

After a long wait, actress Mandira Bedi and her husband and filmmaker Rraj Kaushal introduced the newest member of their family, four-and-a-half-year-old adopted daughter Tara to the world and since then congratulatory and heartfelt wishes have been pouring in for the couple from celebs and friends alike. On Tuesday, Shriya Saran, who will soon be seen in a cameo role for SS Rajamouli’s RRR took to Instagram to wish the happy couple and send them big hugs and kisses.

The Gamanam actress took to Insta stories along with her hubby Andrei Koscheev and said, “Congratulations Mandira, Rraj and Vir. So proud of you guys. So happy for you. Can’t wait to meet this angel and all of you. Big hugs and kisses.”


In an interview earlier, Mandira Bedi revealed how Tara came into their lives in July and has already become a big part of the family. The dotting mother couldn’t help but talk about her daughter who she says is naughty, fun, and absolutely comfortable now. On the decision to adopt, the DDLJ actress says, “Many years back, we had decided that we would have one biological child and adopt the other. We have always wanted to bring a daughter into our lives, and Tara is a fulfillment of that dream.”
On the professional front, Shriya will soon be seen in Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer RRR. The Santhosham actress will share screen space with Ajay Devgn in the film. She will also be seen in Sujana Rao’s directorial debut Gamanam that is an anthology of three stories. Shriya will be seen in a de-glam role that also features actors like Shiva Kandukuri and Priyanka Jawalkar.
