Sundeep Kishan Gives Clarity on His Restaurant Issue

A recent raid by the Telangana Food Safety Department on actor Sundeep Kishan’s restaurant, Vivaha Bhojanambu, in Secunderabad, has sparked concerns regarding food safety protocols. The inspection, conducted on July 8th, unearthed several violations related to food storage and labeling practices.

Authorities reportedly discovered expired food items, including Chittimutyalu Rice that had passed its Best Before date. Additionally, grated coconut containing synthetic food colors was found on the premises. The restaurant took immediate action, discarding these items to ensure consumer safety.

In response to the public scrutiny following the raid, Sundeep Kishan addressed circulating images that he believed misrepresented the situation. He shared a verified document from the food safety inspection, emphasizing the restaurant’s commitment to maintaining high hygienic standards in the kitchen. He vehemently denied the use of taste enhancers or artificial additives in food preparation. Kishan reiterated Vivaha Bhojanambu’s dedication to quality and customer safety, highlighting that some of the visuals circulating online were not from their kitchen.

The Commissioner of Food Safety, through official social media channels, provided a more nuanced perspective. The statement acknowledged the restaurant’s adherence to displaying the mandatory FSSAI license and adherence to pest control regulations. However, it also confirmed shortcomings in food storage practices, necessitating corrective action.

Sundeep Kishan urged patrons to rely on verified information and avoid drawing conclusions based on sensationalized media reports. He expressed his appreciation for the restaurant’s loyal customer base and reassured them of Vivaha Bhojanambu’s unwavering commitment to serving high-quality food. While the inspection identified minor issues not directly related to food preparation safety, the restaurant maintains its dedication to upholding the highest standards for a positive dining experience.
