Raw rural backdrop films have worked big time in the recent times and the best examples are ‘RX100’ and ‘C/o Kancherapalem.’ Falling in the same genre is ‘Palasa 1978.’
Starring Rakshit and Nakshatra in the lead roles, this is a love story of two individuals who hail from different communities (caste) and also inspired by true events. This is the main conflict and teaser has raw appeal that might be the x factor but it is mostly filled with slow motion shots.
Directed by Karuna Kumar, the teaser has just one dialogue wherein the protagonist says about his origins. Music is composed by Raghu Kunche and he is also debuting as an actor with this film.
