Andhra People know the importance of Kuppam and Pulivendula in the context of AP politics. Be it, Jagan or Chandra Babu, both leaders concentrate on these two constituencies and surrounding areas in the distrust for a greater cause. Chandra Babu laying foundation for Kadapa Steel plant comes under the same reason and Jagan giving municipality status to Kuppam is very much intentional.
Now, with all his power, AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy started his mark politics in CBN’s constituency. Of course, Jagan achieved some success in this constituency by reducing Nadu’s majority in Kuppam and from then, everything went according to his plan. After Kuppam was given municipality status, all TDP circles were shell-shocked and CBN definitely would have regretted his lack of presence of mind.
Going with the flow, Jagan is looking to establish his mark in a much different way. It is known that the YSRCP government has decided to give lands and construct homes for 30 lakhs people all over the state. Now the people in Kuupam from Chittoor district were given much importance than any other area in the district and there are allegations that some ineligible persons were also given the lands due to the love that Jagan has been showering on those people.
In the past 6 months, most of the funds that belong to Chittoor district all-round development are being transferred to Kuppam and Jagan is creating his level best to attack Babu where it hurts the most.
