In the wake of his forced ouster from TV9 Telugu as its CEO, V Ravi Babu aka Ravi Prakash will be now the shareholder in ABCL group but not related to TV9 in any way. And that puts everyone into thinking, what will be his future step.
Apparently, Ravi will not be in a mood to start another Telugu news channel from scratch and make it big like TV9. Though he might have made a huge fortune from TV9 venture, it takes a lot of difficulties and hurdles to nurture another TV channel now. Back then there is no competition for him for years, but now Telugu news channels became a mushroom cultivation with nearly a dozen of them operating already.
On the other hand, if the ‘resignation letter’ of Ravi Prakash that is doing rounds on the internet is true by any chance, then the political forces that the ousted CEO of TV9 accused in his letter will not let him do any business peacefully. When there is political witch-hunting, we have seen numerous businesses fall from the sky and some top class gentleman like Satyam Ramalinga Raju counting the bars.
At the moment, they say that Ravi will take care of the internal channel he started recently along with some partners and will venture into other businesses rather media. Many of his fans are wishing him to rise like a phoenix from the ashes. Let’s see what happens.
