Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu has been very vocal about expecting early elections in the state for quite some time now. He has been repeatedly saying that all of TDP’s members are getting ready for early elections and that he’s sure that the TDP would win with a vast majority this time.
Chandrababu has once again reiterated these sentiments, after Jagan’s speech in the assembly yesterday, on the occasion of Women’s day. Chandrababu said that Jagan is following KCR’s method of early elections, as Telangana Cheif Minister KCR called din for early elections in 2018. Chandrababu said that this is because the AP CM is very much aware of the anti-incumbency feelings that are growing in the state. He said that Jagan is scared that the YSRCP will not come back to power in the next elections if he doesn’t take swift action.
Chandrababu also said that the AP government is very much aware of the dire circumstances that they put the state in, as the state has never been in a much worse situation. He also said that he is sure that the people will vote in favour of the TDP in the 2024 elections. It is now to be seen in Chandrababu’s prediction will come true, and if it does, whether or not the TDP will win the elections.
