The overseas YSRCP friends of Minneapolis met together and came in strong support of the upcoming biopic release ‘Yatra’ tied to the life of Mahaneta Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
The team met and discussed how creative the team of Yatra were in bringing one of the crucial elements of Dr. YSR on to the silver screen.
The members felt this is the most genuine and apt way of projecting the life elements of late Dr.YSR and congratulated Director Mahi Raghav, Producers Shashi Devireddy, Siva Meka and Vijay Chilla and entire Yatra team for attempting such a grandeur subject.
The members also opined that unlike other biopics that were made with fancy budget, heavy star cast and projected characters that are larger than life, this biopic reflects the humble mannerisms of Mammootty that are directly linked to how Dr. YSR lived his life throughout.
The members requested that this movie should be viewed beyond party lines and should not be connected a political party, as the Yatra by Dr. YSR was taken for the poor and to alleviate their sufferings.
The understanding on the table was this is the perfect way of collaborating with all sections of the society.
We, the overseas YSRCP friends of Minneapolis request every citizen of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and all the NRIs to ensure they do not miss such a movie that comes in a millennium.
