Jayadev Galla is a very primenet Industrialist in India, and also a TDP MP. During TDP’s reign, the party had given Galla’s company – Amara Raja Groups – for development and industrialisation purposes.
Now, the ruling party of YSRCP has made a public announcement that it is taking back almost 250 acres of this land because Galla failed to start any development in that land. They also said that he not only started any development, but also hasn’t created any job opportunities as he promised. The government has also questioned why Galla hadn’t developed the lands he was given in all these years, to which Galla hasn’t responded yet.
Jay*-tdev Galla had spoken about the same issue a few days ago, saying that he thinks the government is about to take his lands away from him. He also said that all of this is a part of YSRCP’s personal vendetta against TDP. The TDP party has also been vocal of several members of the party getting blackmailing and threatening calls from the governing party, related to politics and other matters as well.
Galla Jayadev’s mother Galla Aruna Kumari has also worked as a minister previously, and the family had shifted its loyalties from Congress to TDP a very long time ago. Amara Raja groups is not only reputable and respected in the Telugu states, but enjoys the same status nationwide as well. The Galla family enjoys a fierce respect especially in the Chittoor district.
However, Jayadev Galla is definitely answerable as to why he hadn’t developed the lands that he was given in all these years.
