After the local body election row in Andhra Pradesh, the supreme court verdict satisfied both the state government and the State Election Commission. As the election code has been nullified, the YSRCP has got something from their petition.
Now, Nimmagadda Ramesh from the SEC has requested the center for high-security alleging he has been receiving some threatening calls after he postponed the local body elections. The YSRCP is condemning the reports of the chief of SEC’s letter to the center and said that the news is fake and the TDP social media is the one which created it.
As, the Minister of State for Home Affairs Government of India, Kishan Reddy responded to the request letter of Nimmagadda Ramesh Kumar and asked the state government to intervene in the matter, YSRCP has opted to the defense strategy all of a sudden.
Kishan Reddy made it clear that it is the responsibility of the state government to provide additional security for the Chief election Commissioner on his request and this morning, Ramesh Kumar clarified that he will resume his duties from his new building in Hyderabad. So, the YSRCP has no chance to deny the request letter of the Ramesh Kumar asking for extra security.
