Family Man Manoj Bajpayee To Trouble Prabhas?

Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee attained critical acclaim and appreciation from common audiences as well with his stellar performance in Amazon Prime’s blockbuster series, Family Man. The star actor is one of the most sought after actors in Indian cinema now. He is being approached for several biggies in Bollywood and South Indian cinema alike. The latest updates suggest that Manoj is in serious consideration for Prabhas’s Salaar, which is one of the biggest projects in the making.

Apparently, the makers of Salaar want to cast Manoj Bajpayee for the antagonist role in the film. They have already initiated talks with the star actor and they are awaiting his final response. Manoj did listen to the script and he is said to be impressed with the same. He has principally agreed to star in the action thriller. But he is yet to take the final decision. The makers of the Prabhas starrer are waiting for the same.

Prashanth Neel has the knack of penning powerful antagonist roles and he is doing the same for Salaar. He has apparently penned a menacing role that will be taking on Prabhas’s protagonist character in the film. Prashanth opined that Manoj Bajpayee perfectly fits the role and he wants to bring on board the versatile actor. The makers of Salaar obliged to Prashanth’s request and have been moving accordingly.

Meanwhile, Salaar unit recently wrapped up the second schedule in Hyderabad recently. Key scenes featuring Prabhas and the female lead, Shruti Hassan were shot in this schedule. The unit plans to commence the third schedule towards the end of September or early October. The producers aim to complete the signing of an actor for the antagonist before commencing the final schedule. If Manoj Bajpayee agrees to come on board then it is well and goo, but if he doesn’t, the makers will have to look for other alternatives. The Prashanth Neel is being funded by Hombale films and Ravi Barsur, who composed the music for KGF is working on the Prabhas starrer now. The film is all set to hit the silver screens on 14th April next year.
