Ever since anchor Anasuya made a tweet on the ‘lockdown in Telangana’, she is facing the ire of netizens. The anchor has been revealing on Monday morning that she is blocking many accounts and expressed her sadness over intellectuals also joining in trolling her. But like anchor Rashmi, even this anchor is failing to read the situation properly.
With Minister KTR announcing about lockdown last night, Anasuya immediately replied to him, “Sir..with due respect & will to abide by the Govt..just to throw light..considering some professions..if we can’t go to work..we don’t make our incomes..but we have to bear monthly mandatory expenses like house rent, power bills,EMIs etc..request you to consider such situations (sic)”.
While the anchor kept on claiming that she addressed everyone in this issue by saying that ‘we’, but actually netizens are trolling her because she never falls in that category. Anasuya takes income on per day basis, but surely that won’t make her someone who could be compared with a daily wage worker, which is her biggest make now.
The happening anchor earns anywhere between 10-15 lakhs per month and even if she pays the EMI of a palatial residence and a swanky luxury car, she saves 50% of that income. Also her husband is a bank employee who earns a lakh per month, but not another daily wage worker. All the ire of netizens is about equally herself to daily wage workers, which she needs to understand.
