The deadline for withdrawal of nomination has concluded and a total of 443 nominations were filed for the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana. Nizamabad Lok Sabha has the highest number of candidates with 185 while Medak MP seat has least with 10 contenders.
With too many candidates for Nizamabad, the election commission will go for ballot voting. The officials have been making arrangements for it accordingly. In a protest form, many farmers have filed their nomination for Nizamabad Lok Sabha seat. Sitting MP Kavitha of TRS tried her best to convince farmers to withdraw nominations but her efforts went in vain.
