2 from AP file papers against Modi in Varanasi

Besides Telangana’s turmeric farmers, two youngsters from Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasam district have also filed their nomination agains Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi. Vadde Srinivas who is a techie and Kolluru Ravi Kiran who is a priest want to ensure that the fluorosis problem in their district finds a permanent solution.

The two youngsters from Prakasam believe that their nomination will draw attention to the rampant fluorosis problem in the district. They however say that theirs is not a political fight but want the completion of Veligonda project which will relieve the district of the fluoride issue.

The duo filed their nomination papers yesterday instead of Friday, because the PM was there and filing his nomination. They have been fighting about the shortage of drinking water in the district and hope that Veligonda will solve their problems of water toxicity which is affecting health of people.
